Children with disabilities get new plan

Last month, Maxine Morand, Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development launched a new plan to support children and young people with disabilities or developmental delay.  Better Opportunities, Better Outcomes is “a common assessment framework which allows information to be shared, with parental consent, between different professionals and agencies”. The plan aims to provide an effective system of services for children from birth to 18 years of age.
